Set up in 1932 by Thomas (“TW”) Bell. The company was originally established as a Livestock Haulier and Agricultural Contractor in Belsay, Northumberland. The business thrived and moved to its current location, Burnside Garage, Stamfordham in 1956. The first coach was purchased almost immediately to meet the needs of local school children who were attending the local schools in Stamfordham, Ponteland and Walbottle.

TW was successful in his ventures due to his friendly and reliable manner and a desire to provide the best service possible for his customers. This is something that Bells Coaches has carried forward and strives to do so in the future.

Now in its 3rd Generation Bells Coaches is still maintaining all of its original values and is still open to new ventures and exciting journeys.

Our constantly expanding fleet of coaches are all of the highest quality. Our fleet ranges in size from 35 to 70 seat vehicles. Large or small groups – Bells Coaches has your travel needs covered. Our coaches are all fitted with seat belts and extras include reclining seats, air conditioning, DVD players and CD/PA systems.
