From the beautiful North Yorkshire Coast to the breathtaking scenery of The Lake District we have some excellent day excursions for you.
Here is just a taste of some of types of excursions we provide throughout the year.
Edinburgh & Leith
Enjoy the scenery as we travel over the Scottish Border to Jedburgh where we will make a short visit to Jedburgh Mill the perfect opportunity for a coffee, before making our way to Edinburgh City Centre where the festival will just be commencing. For those who wish to visit Leith Mills or the Ocean Terminal Shopping Complex this is also included.
Guisborough & Whitby
Join us on our excursion to the beautiful North Yorkshire seaside town of Whitby. En-route we will visit the small town of Guisborough. Before lunch time we travel to Whitby where you will enjoy the afternoon at your leisure to take in the sights such as the world famous Whitby Abbey, and of course be able to enjoy fish & chips.
Thirsk Market & York
We will spend the morning in the market town of Thirsk, possibly best known as the home town of author James Herriot where you can take advantage of the market as well as the shops & tearooms. We then travel to the historic City of York where you can enjoy many attractions such as the world famous York Minster. For those who wish there will also be the opportunity to visit McAurthar Glen Shopping Outlet.
Autumn Lakes
On this excursion we will explore one of the most beautiful and tranquil areas this country has to offer. Firstly enjoying the morning in Keswick before making our way through Grasmere and Ambleside to Bowness on Windermere where we will spend the afternoon.
Harrogate Knitting & Stitching / City Shopper
The well established Harrogate Knitting & Stitching is the perfect day out for all craft enthusiasts. Held in the Harrogate International Centre it has been running annually for over twenty years and has become the largest and most highly regarded textiles and craft event in the UK.
Whatever your craft passion, you’ll find something for you at The Knitting and Stitching Show. Come along and find out why the ’Harrogate’ show is the event in the craft calendar. For those who simply wish to explore Harrogate this is the perfect opportunity to visit the wide range of shops and eateries.
St Nicholas Christmas Fayre York
Once again we are visiting the ever popular St Nicholas Fayre, one of the most visited markets in the UK. Ideally situated in York City Centre you are amongst all the shops and attractions. You are also just a short bus ride from McArthur Glen Shopping Outlet.
Edinburgh Christmas Market
Following last year’s success we are returning to Edinburgh Christmas Market. The German Market is famous for the wide range of unusual gifts and hand crafted items available. After exploring the market why not take advantage of the vast range of shops the city has to offer.
Gilsland Spa, Turkey & Tinsel Day
Join us on a fun filled day to the beautiful Gilsland Spa, Cumbria. On arrival there is the time for tea or coffee before enjoying a 4 course Christmas meal. After lunch it is time for entertainment in the ballroom with refreshments before making our way home at approximately 1700.
Skipton Yuletide Festival
This excursion takes you to the Gateway of the Dales, where Skipton Yuletide Festival & Christmas Market is now in its 19th year. Not only will you be able to visit the market but there will also be time to see what Skipton has to offer. This is the perfect opportunity to purchase those last minute Christmas gifts.
